Supernova Plasmajets

On Netflix, 80s series like “Stranger Things” are breaking records, fashion labels are launching “80s retro models” every month and Mötley Crüe are back on world tour with Def Leppard. The Supernova Plasmajets have come to take you by the hand and travel with you back to the future. travel with you back to the future:

That means modern female-fronted metal with the spirit of long-lost 80s stadium rock. Since 2013 and two records, they are on the road as ambassadors of the 80s and have come to present the music of this great time in new packaging to a new generation. Whether at big festivals like Summer Breeze Open Air, Rock The Ring, Metal Hammer Paradise, Baltic Open Air, Rock Of Ages or on European tour with Kissin’ Dynamite, Reckless Love on German tour with The New Roses or as support act of Elaectric Callboy, JBO and Steel Panther, Mannheim’s Supernova Plasmajets know how to thrill an audience and take them into an 80s parallel universe.

At the end of 2021, the second album “Now Or Never” was released, followed by a big German tour, together with John Diva & The Rockets Of Love, across the republic.

In 2022, the band toured with Reckless Love in autumn, in addition to supporting gigs for Steel Panther, among others, before celebrating their tenth anniversary in December.

The self-titled debut album will be re-released on 16.06.2023 with two bonus tracks via Bug Valley Records. One (cover of the 80s classic “Maniac”) as a single on May 12th 2023.

„Special Edition“

(Album) 16-06-2023

In 2017 the self-titled first album by Mannheim’s finest “Supernova Plasmajets” has been released.

Six years later it’s out of stock everywhere. So they decided to re-release it in cooperation with Bug Valley Records.

In 2023 the debut will be released again as a special edition with two previously unreleased songs. On the one hand a cover version of the 80s classic “Maniac” and on the other hand a German-language title called “Geheimnis” which is an absolute exception for the English-singing band.
